1998 Star Trek Playmates Transporter Series TNG Set Picard, Riker, LaForge & Worf Action Figures. 1 - Captain Jean-Luc Picard - Collector Number 011883 1 - Commander William T. Riker - Collector Number 003459 (Riker is a rare hard to find figure) 1 - Lt. Commader Geordi LaForge - Collector Number 005202 1 - Lt. Worf - Collector Number 004970 You are bidding on Playmates action figures from The Next Generation Star Trek show. These are from the Transporter Series. The figures are made of a translucent plastic filled with a glitter substance where the bust part of the figure is painted. The bases the figures stand on are battery operated to provide lights and sounds. The lights make the figure's translucent part look like it is in a partially transported state. These are all new and mint in package, however I did open the bottom to remove the batteries so they would not leech and destroy the battery compartment with battery acid or corrosion. This was done to keep the figures in mint condition. This is an acceptable act (and almost mandatory) for any battery operated collectible item. So batteries are NOT included even though it says they are on the package. You can easily open the bottom of the boxes, add the 2 AAA batteries, and reseal if you want them in working order without removing them from the boxes. The boxes are in very good/excellent condition. See photos for condition details. Would make a great unique Christmas present for any Star Trek or TNG fan!
