Description

This is a very scarce Cameroun block of four of Scott # 356 (6p) with the overprint in Sterling for use in the former South Camerouns when it was being Financially Intergrated into the Economy of the Independent Cameroun around 1962. The stamps were on sale for a very short time and it is believed that they were soon withdrawn. They are seldom offered, and command a high price due to their limited scarcity. Some single stamps are somewhat available, but very few blocks of four or more.
