The package has been opened, because the original demo batteries were dead, but the old batteries leaked and completely corroded the battery connection springs and has rendered the playset inoperable . The package is in nice shape with minor shelf edge wear/corner dings/dents and creases and a small tear on the lower back right side. I put a can of Coke next to it to show size/scale. A GREAT GIFT!
