A beautiful collectible 4 stamp block set of U.S. postage stamps issued on August 2nd, 1971 to to coincide with the Apollo 15 mission and to commemorate the 10th anniversary of John Glenn's Project Mercury flight which was the first mission to put a man in space. The stamps feature the landing craft and lunar rover. These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office 53 years ago! Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift to anyone who worked in the space industry or is interested in space exploration!
